Printmakers' Potluck 2016 Pt. 1 - The Out-of-Towners

This year's Burr House Gallery print exchange, has been christened the Printmakers' Potluck. You know how when you tell people it's a potluck you never know what you're going to get? Well I think that aptly describes a print exchange like ours.

The criteria was:
  • traditional printmaking method, or predominantly traditional with new techniques added
  • 6 prints, get 5 in return
  • print size not limited, paper size no larger than 8"x10" (20cm x 25cm)
  • prints can be monoprints, or parts of an edition, no specific requirements
  • prints can be made anytime within the last 5 years. Send us those prints that are perfectly good, hanging around the studio or drawer, get them out in the world to be seen and loved

We had 11 participants, with 5 from out of the area.
Here are the prints that were shown in the gallery:

Reflect, photoetching
Julie Macbean, Darlington, Co. Durham, United Kingdom

Superhero, humming to the rescue,7 colour lino reduction,
